Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 1926 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we received the news from Buckingham Palace of the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on 8^th September 2022. On behalf of the people of the parish of Longworth, the Parish Council would like to offer their sincere condolences to the King and all members of the royal family.  Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication to this country was an inspiration to many and for which we are thankful.

The union flag at  St Mary’s Church Longworth will be at half mast until the day after her funeral.
